Regis Athletics Welcomes Four More New Assistant Coaches

WESTON, Mass. - The Regis College athletics department continues to announce its new staff members for the 2023-24 academic year, with four former student-athletes joining the Pride as assistant coaches.

Sara Fallon joins the Regis College softball program as an assistant coach. Fallon was a four-year letterwinner at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa., as a corner infielder. She appeared in 62 career games, including 43 starts, and finished with a .271 career batting average.

As a senior, she batted .288 with 15 hits, including three doubles, one triple, and two home runs. She ended her collegiate career by going 4-for-7 with a triple, a home run, and six RBI in a doubleheader split at McDaniel. Originally from Wallingford, Conn., Fallon graduated from Muhlenberg in 2023 with her bachelor's degree in biology, plus she minored in Africana studies.

Abigail Geaney returns to Regis College as an assistant swimming and diving coach, completing an all-alumni coaching staff as she joins head coach Diana Matthews '95 and assistant coach Elisabeth McQuaid '20. Geaney graduated from Regis in May 2022 with her bachelor's degree in elementary education and psychology.

She was a member of the Pride swimming and diving team from 2019 to 2022, competing in the freestyle and butterfly events. From September 2022 to August 2023, Geaney worked for Medicus Healthcare Solutions as a recruiter. 

Jamar Noble comes to Regis College as an assistant coach with the men's soccer team. Noble also played collegiately at Muhlenberg College, joining the Mules soccer program after graduating from Buckingham Browne & Nichols in Cambridge, Mass. During the 2015 season, he appeared in nine matches, including three starts. Noble has coached soccer on four of the seven continents.

Kaitlynn Smith joins the Regis College women's basketball program as an assistant coach. Smith graduated from Curry College in May 2023 with her bachelor's degree in sport management. As a member of the Curry basketball team, she started 81 of the 83 games she appeared in during her career, finishing with 750 career points, 228 career rebounds, 114 career assists, and 114 career steals.

A graduate of Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree, Mass., Smith was a two-time team MVP and was named her team's Defensive Player of the Year as a senior. Smith is a native of Hull, Mass., and is pursuing her master's degree in strategic communication at Regis.

Regis College is a member of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) within NCAA Division III, currently celebrating its 50th anniversary.
