Regis Athletics Welcomes New Staff Members

WESTON, Mass. - The Regis College athletics department has welcomed several new staff members for the 2023-24 academic year, including three former student-athletes who will fill administrative roles for the Pride.

Kyra Belden joins the Pride athletics department as the assistant for athletics administration, helping with various tasks such as facility scheduling and coordinating membership services. A native of Hollis, N.H., Belden was a member of four state championship volleyball teams at Hollis-Brookline High School before attending Assumption University, an NCAA Division II institution located in Worcester, Mass.

Belden was a member of the Assumption volleyball team from 2019 to 2022, appearing in 165 sets within 51 matches for the Greyhounds. As a setter, she compiled 1,020 career assists, including 577 assists in 2021 as she averaged 9.02 assists per set. She also concluded her career with 50 service aces and 277 digs. Belden graduated from Assumption with her bachelor's degree in psychology.

Zoë Coleman starts her tenure as the assistant sports information director after a decorated career at Dean College, where she played both field hockey and softball. Nominated by Dean for the 2022-23 GNAC Women's Athlete of the Year Award, Coleman was a multi-time NFHCA Scholar of Distinction and a member of the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, plus she received the Dr. Karen L. Skyes Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Award at Dean for having the highest GPA among female student-athletes.

As a defender in field hockey, Coleman started all 46 matches she appeared in, collecting 13 defensive saves during her career. As a pitcher for the Dean softball team, she made 38 career appearances in the pitching circle, including 22 starts. She pitched a complete game shutout against Fisher April 28, 2022, allowing just four hits in five innings while striking out a career-high seven batters.

Colin Dickinson begins his new role as coordinator of game operations after a stellar collegiate lacrosse career at Emmanuel College. In 63 career matches, including 55 starts, Dickinson collected 84 goals and 33 assists for 117 total points, the seventh player in Saint lacrosse history to enter the 100-point club. He helped Emmanuel win the 2023 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship, and then he scored two goals in the Saints' 12-7 victory at Maine Maritime in the first round of the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament.

Dickinson graduated from Emmanuel with his bachelor's degree in sports management, plus he minored in economics. During the Fall 2022 semester, he served as a gameday marketing and promotions intern at Harvard University, plus he was a member of the gameday operations crew at Emmanuel throughout his collegiate career. Originally from Barre, Vt., Dickinson received the Emmanuel College Athletics Sportsmanship Award and was named to the NEILA All-Academic Team.

Regis College is a member of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) within NCAA Division III, currently celebrating its 50th anniversary.
