KDP Book Drive Set For Saturday Women’s Basketball Game

WESTON, Mass. – The Co-Curricular Engagement class in the Regis department of education will be conducting a KDP book drive along with a prize raffle and halftime shooting contest at this week's Regis (Mass.) women's basketball game Saturday vs. Simmons College.

The book drive is sponsored and run by class members and the Regis KDP (Kappa Delta Pi) chapter and will be the second book drive Regis. KDP was founded in 1911 to foster excellence in education and promote fellowship among those dedicated to teaching. 

Class and chapter members will set up the book drive and raffle table at the floor level of the gym prior to the game which is set to tipoff at 3:00 p.m. following the men's basketball game. Fans who donate a book will receive a raffle ticket with the drawing coming at halftime. Winners will be able to compete in a free throw shooting contest and prizes will include a $25 gift card donated by KDP.
