Week of 9/28/15

Regis College senior forward Kristen Abreu (Woburn, Mass.) has been named this week's Regis College Student-Athlete of the Week after leading the Crimson and Gold to their first conference win this past weekend.

Abreu had her best game of the season during a 5-1 victory against Bay Path University during PrideFest on Saturday afternoon. She scored her first goal of the season during the second half after putting a loose ball rebound into the net. She also assisted on both of Joana Rosa's (Boston, Mass.) goals. The goal puts Abreu's career total to 24 goals and needs only four more to pass Jen Oteri (1985-88) for first in program history.

The Crimson and Gold return to action on Tuesday, September 29th when they travel to Rhode Island College for a 6:00 p.m. showdown with the Anchorwomen.
