Regis College sophomore Marcos Aguirre (Norwalk, Calif.) has been named this week's Regis College Student-Athlete of the Week after leading the Pride men to their fourth conference victory.

During a 3-1 (25-14, 25-22, 23-25, 25-17) win over league foe Newbury, Aguirre set a career-high with 17 kills. The sophomore hit .344 on the evening and made six digs, blocked two attempts and had an assist.

The Crimson and Gold return to action Tuesday when they welcome non-conference opponent Emerson to campus for a 6:00 p.m. showdown with the Lions.
