Erin Kelley Named GNAC Women’s Track Athlete of Week - Feb. 21
WINTHROP, Mass. – After breaking her own school record in the 3000 meter run Sunday at the 2022 USATF New England Masters and Open Indoor Track and Field Championships, senior Erin Kelley (Stoneham, Mass.) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Track Athlete of the Week, announced Monday afternoon, Feb, 21, by the league office.

Kelley finished first in the 3000 meter run with a time of 10:51.84, over 13 seconds faster than the previous school record mark of 11:05.29 she established at the Middlebury Winterfell on Jan. 22. It is also close to 30 seconds quicker than the time Kelley posted in winning the 3000 meter run at the 2022 GNAC Indoor Track and Field Championships one week ago.

This is Kelley's second GNAC weekly award of the year, previously being named GNAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week Jan. 24.

The Regis College track and field team gear up for the New England Division III Championships, scheduled to begin on Friday, Feb, 25, at Colby College in Waterville, Maine.
