As a Sophomore:
Joined the outdoor program as a sprinter. Ran 14.08s in the 100-meters and 28.82s in the 200-meters at the Brown Springtime Invitational. Ranked as the 9th fastest 200-meter runner in Regis Track & Field history. 4x100-meter relay member that competed at the 2010 Outdoor Division III New England Track & Field Championship.

High School:
A two-sport athlete in both Volleyball and Track & Field. Was a member of the All-Star Scholastic and of the Women’s Sports Day Interscholastic. Gomes triple jumped over 32’…ran 28s in the 200-meter dash and 45s in the 300-meter dash as a sophomore, and competed in the MIAA D1 class meet. 

Personal:
Her hobbies include sports, music and dancing. Gomes would like to be a nurse or a pediatrician someday. Her favorite athletes are Misty May and Kerri Walsh, as well as her favorite sports team being the Patriots. Her favorite food is Lasagna. She has two brothers Jose and John…daughter of Bobby and Ivone Gomes. She is a Nursing major.
