RAPSIS TO JOIN TRACK AND FIELD TEAM AS FIRST TO POLE VAULT

Weston, Mass.—Head coach Christine Kloiber of the Regis College Track and Field team announced recently that Tori Rapsis (Nashua, NH) intends to join the Regis team in the fall.

Rapsis was a pole vault specialist for Nashua High School, and would be Regis’ first pole vault athlete ever. Rapsis placed fifth as a freshman in the New Hampshire State Meet, and third in Class L in 2009. In addition to those accomplishments, she placed in the top 10 in the 2009 New Hampshire Meet of Champions.

At the end of her junior year Rapsis was placed fourth in New Hampshire vaulting. Having placed a vault of 9-foot 1-inch in high school would qualify her to compete in the Collegiate Division III New England Championships.

“She will make an immediate impact,” said Kloiber. Rapsis will join a growing team of talent, and championship qualifiers.
