Coach Patrick Lahey joined the Regis College track and field staff in the winter of 2013. A Worcester, Mass. native, Lahey graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in 2007 and went on to throw shot/disc for four years at Bridgewater State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education in 2012. In 2011, Lahey was elected tri-captain of the Bears' Indoor/Outdoor Track Teams.

After graduation, Lahey joined the BSU coaching staff as an assistant coach specializing in throws. He coached seven All-MASCAC performers, seven Division-III New England Championship qualifiers, three All-New England performers, three ECAC Championship qualifiers, one All-ECAC performer, and one All-American thrower. The Bears 2012 men's outdoor track team also won the program's first MASCAC team title in 16 years.

Lahey also holds both USATF and USTFCCCA Level 1 coaching cerifications.
