WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College men's track & field team competed in the New England Division III Championships at Springfield College on Saturday morning.

The 4x400 relay squad of junior Ray Grasso (Orange, Mass.), sophomore Matt Norton (Weymouth, Mass.), senior Chandler Davies (Hartford, Conn.) and junior Joe Greco (Oxford, Conn.) shattered the school record by finishing the event in 3:34.41. In the field, freshman thrower Ryan Richards (Pembroke, Mass.) competed in the shot put event in which he had three attempts; his longest throw landed 13.29 meters which was good for 16th place. Ray Grasso also participated in a field event. He was involved in the triple jump which his longest hurdle was marked at 12.50 meters.

The track & field teams return to action on Saturday, March 7th when they participate in the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships.
