The NABC Honors Court recognizes the talents and gifts that players possess off the court, and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom.

Sophomore forward Sam Jean-Gilles led the selections with an All-NECC First Team nod, while junior guard Jeff Tagger Jr. (Brockton, Mass.) received an All-NECC Second Team selection.

    The No. 2 seed Regis College men’s basketball team pulled an upset during the New England Collegiate Conference Championship shocking No. 1 seed Southern Vermont College 74-72 on Saturday night at the Mountaineer Athletic Center. The victory was the Pride’s first NECC Championship since joining the conference in 2011 and they handed the Mountaineers who were previously undefeated in NECC play their first conference loss. The loss also snapped Southern Vermont’s 16 game win streak.

With the win the Pride earn their 18th victory of the season and with the loss, the Eagles fall to 11-16, 7-10, NECC.
