REGIS TRAVELS TO DICKINSON FOR NCAA FIRST ROUND

WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College men's basketball team, fresh off their first New England Collegiate Conference Championship, will travel to Dickinson College for an NCAA Tournament First Round game on Friday night at 8:00 p.m.

The Pride sits at 19-8 overall this season after winning the NECC Championship, 74-72, over top-seeded Southern Vermont College on Saturday afternoon. The Pride has won 10 of their last 11 games headed into the NCAA Tournament.

Dickinson currently ranks #14 in the last D3Hoops.com coaches poll and are 22-5 overall on the year. The Red Devils won the Centennial Conference Championship this past weekend, defeating #11 Johns Hopkins, 65-62, in the finals.

This will be the first ever meeting between the two programs. The winner of Friday night's game will take on the winner of the other first round game, Albertus Magnus College and Springfield College, on Saturday night.
