Women's Lacrosse Stopped by Emmanuel

BOSTON - Regis College was bested by Emmanuel College, 14-2, in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's lacrosse action Wednesday night at Clemente Field.

Regis got on the board late in the second quarter as Morgan Pero (Hartford, Vt.) fed Kylee Marley (Westerly, R.I.) for the goal with 1:36 to play in the half, which cut the Saints lead to five (6-1).

Marley capped off scoring late in the fourth quarter, finding the open net for an unassisted goal and the Pride's second score of the contest with just under three minutes remaining in the game.

Daniela Mazo (Bridgeport, Conn.) made 11 saves in net for Regis, while Isabella Thomas made three saves in the win for Emmanuel.

Brianna Stephenson led the Saints with four goals, while Deja Srimouksavanh contributed three goals and two assists. Rachel Canedy and Livia Fedele both finished with two goals with Fedele also adding three assists.

Regis College (6-8, 4-7 GNAC) closes out its home slate later in the week, hosting Norwich University on Friday, April 21, beginning at 5:00 p.m. before ending the regular season with a road matchup against Elms on Wednesday, April 26, starting at 7 p.m.
