Pride Women’s Lacrosse Represented on IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Four members of the Regis College women's lacrosse team in 2021-22, all multi-sport student-athletes, have been recognized for their academic excellence by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) with their inclusion on the 2022 IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll, announced Wednesday, July 27, by the national organization.

To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or greater. In total, 1,104 student-athletes from 194 different institutions were included on the 2022 IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll.

Julia Burke joined the women's lacrosse team in 2020 and was also a four-year letterwinner for the swimming and diving program. She appeared in eight matches for the Pride this past season, including three starts. At the Athletics Awards Ceremony, she received the prestigious Regis-Casserly Award for excellence in academics, athletics, leadership, and service. Burke received her bachelor's degree in cybersecurity and criminal justice and is on her way to the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law.

Kate Flemming also joined the women's lacrosse team in 2020, appearing in the home match against Salem State that season. This past year, she started all 16 matches for the Pride, earning three goals and four assists. She picked up her first career points in the March 12 victory at Albertus Magnus with a goal and an assist. Flemming was also a four-year letterwinner for the volleyball team and was secretary of the Regis Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. She received her bachelor's degree in nursing at Commencement in May.

Brielle Kendrioski appeared in nine matches for the Regis soccer team in the fall. She started all 13 lacrosse matches she appeared in, collecting 38 groundballs and causing 14 turnovers. Kendrioski earned her first career points with a goal and an assist at Norwich March 16, plus she picked up assists against Anna Maria April 2 and against Dean April 19, when she finished with a season-high seven groundballs. An Academic All-GNAC honoree this year, Kendrioski is majoring in nursing.

Hannah Schneiderman competed for the Pride field hockey team in the fall, earning a spot on the GNAC Field Hockey All-Sportsmanship Team. She started all 15 lacrosse matches she appeared in, finishing the season with 16 groundballs and nine caused turnovers. She earned two groundballs and two caused turnovers at Fitchburg State March 25, plus she collected two groundballs in four other matches. A two-time Academic All-GNAC selection, Schneiderman is also majoring in nursing.

Regis College sponsors 20 intercollegiate sports, including women's lacrosse, as a NCAA Division III institution competing within the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.
