Senior Spotlight – Women’s Lacrosse

We at GoRegisPride.com are in the midst of recognizing the Regis College seniors in men's and women's lacrosse, softball, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's track and field. These articles will be posted close to the date of the respective teams' scheduled senior ceremonies.

The Regis College women's lacrosse team would like to recognize eight members of the Pride who will be graduating in May. Over the past four seasons, these exemplary student-athletes contributed to a 46-13 (.780) overall record, including a 3-0 mark to start the 2020 campaign before it was cut short. Thanks in part to their play, Regis won the 2017 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Championship and qualified for back-to-back Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournaments, advancing to the semifinals in 2018 and to the title match in 2019 as part of the best overall record (15-3) in program history.

"It's impossible to fully put into words the impact the Class of 2020 has had on our program," head women's lacrosse coach Courtney Duggan said. "This group bridged the gap from our time in the NECC and solidified Regis Women's Lacrosse as a constant contender in the GNAC. Everyone's role was different, but their commitment, character, work ethic, and selflessness was all of the same high caliber that made our success possible."

"All our program can ever ask for is to be made up of good people who understand that we go farther together," continued Duggan. "Kerri, Mary, Bridget, Andra, Jordyn, Maddy, Brooke, and Meg led the way, showed up for their teammates, sacrificed for our success, and leave this program better than they found it. They've set a high bar for everyone who follows, and we can't thank them enough for all they've given to Regis Lacrosse."
