Aguinaldo, Dowling, Ross Deliver Hat-Tricks, Women's Lacrosse Downs Becker

LEICESTER, Mass. - Three Pride players tallied hat-tricks to help the Regis (Mass.) women's lacrosse team overwhelm Becker College 18-1 in New England Collegiate Conference women's lacrosse action Tuesday afternoon at Alumni Field. The win lifts the Pride's record to 11-2 (6-0 NECC) while the Hawks fall to 4-9 (3-4 NECC).

Danielle Aguinaldo (Malden, Mass.), Bridget Dowling (Hanover, Mass.) and Brooke Ross (Hanover, Mass.) all tallied hat-tricks for the Pride. Kerri Anselmo (Natick, Mass.) netted a pair of goals and two assists while Linsay Bumila (Raynham, Mass.) added a couple goals and an assist. Emily Kosak (Milton, Mass.) was in a giving mood as she dished our four assists.

The Hawks avoided the shutout when junior Meghan Bealka (Freetown, Mass.) scored with 1:32 remaining in regulation.

Olivia Maggio (West Windsor, N.J.) earned the victory after making two saves in the first half. Becker goalie Nikolle Storey (Cumberland, Maine) suffered the loss after making five stops in the first half.

Regis returns to action on Thursday, April 18th with a road tilt at Fitchburg State beginning at 7:00 p.m. Becker will finish up the regular season will a road game at Newbury College on Saturday, April 22nd at 1:00 p.m.
