WESTON, Mass. – Regis College senior midfielder Sam Salamone (Milford, Mass.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in Women's Lacrosse; it was announced on Monday afternoon.

Salamone led the Pride offensive attack with six goals, two assists and eight total points during a 20-5 victory versus non-conference opponent Mt. Ida on Saturday afternoon. Salamone complied a 85.7% shooting percentage, five draw controls, caused one turnover and picked up one ground ball. Two of her six scoring tallies came on free position attempts.

The Pride will return to action this Wednesday, March 16th when the Crimson and Gold travel to Wellesley College for a 4:00 p.m. showdown.
