WOMEN’S LAX HONORED BY IWLCA

WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College women's lacrosse team has been honored by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) as a 2015 Academic Honor Squad. The Pride also had a trio of athletes named to the IWLCA All-Academic Honor Roll in Teresa Busiek (Arlington, Mass.), Katie Haidemenos (Warwick, R.I.) and Sam Salamone (Milford, Mass.).

The IWLCA has recognized 128 schools as earning IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Squad honors for the 2015 season. Every school with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher earned Academic Squad honors.

The IWLCA honored 404 student-athletes from 128 different institutions with inclusion in the 2015 IWLCA/Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll. All student-athletes were nominated by their schools and have achieved at least junior status academically and had a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
