REGIS WINS FIFTH-STRAIGHT, CRUISE BY BAY PATH

LONGMEADOW, Mass. - The Regis College women's lacrosse team won its fifth-straight game to improve to 7-4 overall and 4-0 in the New England Collegiate Conference with a 19-1 victory over Bay Path University on Saturday afternoon.

11 different players registered a point for Regis and Emma Decker (Southborough, Mass.) made seven saves en route to her seventh win of the year.

Grace Politis (Billerica, Mass.) and Katie Haidemenos (Warwick, R.I.) each registered hat-tricks for the Pride with Haidemenos adding an assist. Sierra Luce (Hartford, Vt.), Nicole Roche (Waltham, Mass.), Mary Roma (Portland, Maine), and Danielle Aguinaldo (Malden, Mass.) scored two goals apiece. Sashae Walls (Everett, Mass.), Julia Jones (Revere, Mass.), Ashley Ryan (Mashpee, Mass.), and Linsay Bumila (Raynham, Mass.) added goals, while Sam Salamone (Milford, Mass.) scored once and handed out four assists.

Politis grabbed a team-high 15 draw controls and the Pride defense was led by five groundballs apiece from Mary Roma and Rachel Baldrate (Plymouth, Mass.).

Regis returns to action on Wednesday when the Pride travels to St. Joseph's College of Maine for a 7:30 p.m. non-league contest.
