RAPTORS CLAW PAST PRIDE, 14-3

KINGSTON, N.Y. – The Regis College women's lacrosse team fell to 1-1 on the season after a 14-3 non-conference loss at Bard College on Saturday afternoon.

For the second straight game, Bard scored in the first minute. This time it was on a goal by sophomore Stephanie LaMont (Skippack, Pa.), but Regis responded with a pair of goals 72 seconds apart by freshmen Adena Joseph (Stoughton, Mass.) and Grace Politis (Billerica, Mass.), and it was 2-1 in favor of Regis after five minutes.

Bard (2-0) was up, 4-2, when Joseph scored another unassisted goal midway through the first half to cut the deficit to one, but the Raptors scored four times before the half and led 8-3 at the break.
