DICENSO SCORES SIX IN PRIDE LOSS

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College women's lacrosse team was defeated by Nichols College Wednesday (Apr. 20). The Final score of the game was 20-11 in favor of the Bison. The Pride moves to 4-11 overall on the season and 1-9 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference. The visiting Bison move to 4-10 overall on the season and are 3-7 in TCCC play.

The Pride was led by the strong shooting of freshman Tana Dicenso (Framingham, Mass./Marian) who tallied a team high of six goals on the game. Teresa Busiek (Arlington, Mass./Arlington Catholic) helped the Pride's offense by tallying two goals. Teresa Crevier (Milford, Mass./Montrose ), Kristen Amicangioli (Belmont, Mass./Arlington Catholic), and Andrea Barbosa (Taunton, Mass./Taunton) all chipped in with one goal apiece. The Pride's defense was led by Meghan Ryan (Stow, Mass./Iona College) who tallied 13 saves on the game.

The Bison were led by Toni Minelli (Newington, Conn./  Newington ) who had a team high of six goals on the game. Chelsea Shaughnessy (Halifax, Mass./Silver Lake) chipped in with four goals for the Bison. Melanie Chhouy (Pepperell, Mass./Middlesex) and Krista-Jean Forand (Plymouth, Mass./Hebron) rounded out the Bison's top scorers by tallying three goals apiece for the game.The Bison were led on defense by   Danielle Mott (Cranston, R.I./Cranston West) who had 13 saves on the game.

The Pride's next game is Saturday (Apr. 23) against Roger Williams University.
