BUSIEK SCORES TWO IN PRIDE LOSS

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College women's lacrosse team was defeated Tuesday (Apr. 12) by Salve Regina University. The final Score of the game was Salve Regina 20, Regis 4. The Pride moves to 2-10 overall on the season and 0-8 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference. The visiting Seahawks move to 5-9 overall on the season and are 4-5 in TCCC play.

The Pride was led by Teresa Busiek (Arlington, Mass./Arlington Catholic ) who had a team high of two goals. Teresa Crevier (Milford, Mass./Montrose) and Franli Bencosme (Lawrence, Mass./Essex Agricultural and Tech) chipped in with one goal apiece.

The Pride was led in goal by Alycia Murray (Danvers, Mass./Bishop Fenwick) who tallied 10 saves on the game.

The Seahawks were led by Karley Malenczak (Sayville, N.Y./ Sayville) who tallied a team high of five goals. Kelly Burke (Georgetown, Mass./ Georgetown), Megan Clancy (Chelmsford, Mass./ Chelmsford, Mass), and Kayla Sheehan (Pomfret, Conn./Pomfret ) chipped in tallying three goals apiece.

Natalie Balletta (Leominster, Mass./Leominster) played well for the Seahawks tallying six saves on the game.

The Pride's next game is Thursday (Apr. 14) against Wheelock College.

The Seahawks next game is Thursday (Apr.14) against Umass-Dartmouth.
