Weston,Mass.—The Regis College women's lacrosse team is set to take on Endicott College Saturday (Mar. 19). The Pride enters the contest with an overall record of 1-1. The visiting Gulls enter the contest with an overall record of 1-2.
The Pride enters the contest coming off a victory earlier in the week against Emmanuel College. The Pride is led by freshman Teresa Busiek (Arlington, Mass./Arlington Catholic). Busiek leads the team in goals scored on the season with a total of 12. Teresa Crevier (Milford, Mass./Montrose) and Franli Benscome (Lawrence, Mass./Essex Agricultural and Tech) are secondary scorers for the Pride. Benscome and Crevier have amassed six goals on the season.The Pride's defense is led by Meaghan Ryan (Stow, Mass./Iona College). Ryan is the Pride's leader in saves per game tallying 16 saves on the season so far.
The Gulls are led by Morgan DeShaw (Danville, N.H. / Timberlane Regional). DeShaw has tallied 10 goals and two assists on the season and is the current leader in scoring. Molly Sowles (Yarmouth, Maine / Greely) is second on the team in scoring totaling five goals on the season an two assists. Leah Neff (South Berwick, Maine / Marshwood) leads the Gull defense in saves with 29 on the season.
The game will be played at the Regis College Athletic Fields and is set for a 12:00 p.m. start.
