CREVIER MAKES TWO GOALS FOR REGIS

Weston, Mass.—The University of New England (9-2, 7-1 TCCC) scored 13 goals in the first half against conference foe Regis College (1-9, 0-7 TCCC) to win 17-2 Tuesday afternoon. The Nor’easters Angel Jarmusz (Naperville, Ill.) scored four goals, a team-high, in the first half.

Teammates Jenna Barton (Wolfeboro, N.H.) and Kim Bilodeau (Durham, Maine) scored three goals a piece for UNE. The Pride’s leading scorer Teresa Crevier (Milford, Mass.) tallied Regis’ only goals of the game. Crevier had a game-high 11 shots; Bilodeau tallied eight for the Nor’easters.

Regis had a tough day offensively against the Nor’easters. Regis won just six draw controls as a team.

The University of New England won 15. Cara Cole (Norwood, Mass.) won a game-high of five draws. Cole collected eight groundballs in the first half, and two more in the second half.

Regis’ Ashley Hibbard (Marlboro, Mass.) snagged seven. Once Regis’ Crevier obtained the ball she was tough to stop as she entered the crease. Her first shot was a bounce shot that entered the net just over the stick of UNE’s Tara Geraghty (Barrington, R.I.).

Geraghty saved 12 shots from entering the net. As a team, the Nor’easters took more than 20 shots on Regis keeper Alycia Murray (Danvers, Mass.).

The Nor’easters will travel to Roger Williams April 17 in a conference battle. Regis will travel to Endicott College, a TCCC opponent, on the same day.
