CREVIER MARKS GOAL IN LOSS TO ROGER WILLIAMS

Weston, Mass.—Regis College (0-5, 0-3 TCCC) tallied one goal versus its The Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent Roger Williams University (3-3. 2-1 TCCC) as the Pride fell 12-1 to the Hawks Saturday. Regis’ solo goal was scored by Teresa Crevier (Milford, Mass.), her 14th goal of the season for Regis.

Roger Williams freshman Dana Wilfahrt (Hamilton, Mass.) led the Hawks with five goals. Wilfahrt peppered Regis keeper Jillian DeFransesco (Peabody, Mass.) with a perfect 5-of-5 shots on goal, scoring on every shot.

Roger Williams as a team had 17 shots on goal.

DeFransesco marked five saves on the day. The Hawks controlled the groundball column, picking up 45 total groundballs (28 first half, 17 second half). Kate Malencazk (Sayville, N.Y.) and Jessie Alden (Cataumet, Mass.) led Roger Williams with eight groundballs each.

Crevier again showed up for the Pride, snagging four groundballs. The Hawks also held possession of face-offs, winning 11 total draw controls. Regis tallied two wins.

Regis will return to the field April 7 to face TCCC foe Gordon College. Roger Williams will take the field April 5 against Rhode Island College.
