WOMEN'S LACROSSE SUPPORTS FRIENDS OF JACLYN FOUNDATION

WESTON, Mass.—On Sunday, March 28, 2010, Regis College Women’s Lacrosse kicked off the 2010 Friends of Jaclyn (FOJ) Week. The Regis players wore their official FOJ t-shirts during game warm-ups prior to the start of the game versus Husson College.

The Friends of Jaclyn Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for children with pediatric brain tumors and their families. Over the next two weeks, all Regis College home lacrosse games will be part of the 2010 Friends of Jaclyn Week.

The mission of the FOJ Week is to raise awareness about pediatric brain tumors, help support the growth of FOJ, and ultimately help improve the quality of life of children with pediatric brain tumors.

The Regis Women’s Lacrosse team plans to continue their support of the 2010 Friends of Jaclyn week at the following contests:

Saturday, April 3 home versus Roger Williams College. Game time 12:30 p.m.

Thursday, April 8 home versus Elms College. Game time 4:00 p.m.

Saturday, April 10 home versus New England College. Game time 1:00 p.m.

During the home games listed above, Regis College Women’s Lacrosse will have a “2010 FOJ Week” collection at the field. Cash or check donations of any amount will be accepted and greatly appreciated. Please know that the entire amount of your contribution will benefit the Friends of Jaclyn organization and children with pediatric brain tumors.
