WESTON, Mass. - The Regis (Mass.) women's basketball team pushed its win streak to nine on Saturday afternoon at Higgins Court, beating Daniel Webster College 102-47 in New England Collegiate Conference action.

With the win, the Pride stays perfect in NECC action at 12-0 and moves to 13-5 overall. The Eagles fall to 6-12 overall (4-7 NECC) with the loss.

Leading the way for the Pride was forward Brittany Stone (West Bridgewater, Mass.) who finished the afternoon with game-highs of 22 points and 11 rebounds for the double-double in just 18 minutes of action. Stone was among five members of the Pride in double figures, a season high. Amanda Hawkesworth (Abington, Mass.) scored 19, Sam D'Angelo (Woburn, Mass.) scored 13, Sydney Brennan (North Reading, Mass.) had 12 and Brandi Bonneau (Derry, N.H.) had 10 to join Stone.

The Eagles were led offensively by junior guard Escarlin Reynoso (Lawrence, Mass.), who tallied 16 points in the losing effort. One game after recording her 1,000th point, senior Kayla Free (Quincy, Mass.) netted 13 points for the visitors.

Leading 44-29 at the half, the Pride pulled away in a dominating third quarter that saw them outscore the Eagles 35-7. The Pride's 102 points is their highest offensive output of the season, besting their previous high of 86 in a win over Bay Path on Jan. 10. Only one active player failed to register a point in the win. Regis looked solid from beyond the arc all afternoon, hitting 8-of-18 from three-point land. Brennan led the three-point charge, hitting four of her five attempted triples.

The Pride will look to run its winning streak to double digits on Tuesday night in a non-conference matchup against UMass Dartmouth at Higgins Court. Daniel Webster will return to action the same night with a 5:30 tip-off at home against Elms College.
