As a freshman:
Chace saw action in 14 games this season...She had a 1.000 percentage in free throws on 12/13/09 versus Tufts...Had a 1.000 percentage in field goals 01/04/10 versus Southern Maine...

High School:
Alex played both basketball and ran cross-country while at Oliver Ames...she had received a number of awards such as all-scholastic honorable mention both her junior and senior year, and was honored as the Hockomock League all-star her senior year...was also a member of the all-tourney team at the rebel hoop classic.

Personal:
Alex likes to play ball, read, and sleep...her life goal is to graduate from college and be a trainer or coach...her favorite athlete is Dwayne Wade and Jason Kidd...her favorite sports team is the Boston Celtics...her favorite food is pasta and skittles...her favorite quote is "no regrets"...she is the daughter of Lisa and Maniff Chace...she has a sibling named Cody...she is a Health and Fitness major.

High School:
“Alex is a very smart all-around basketball player,” says Plant. Chase was a Boston Globe All-Scholastic All-Star at Oliver Ames High School. Chase also led her Tigers to the state tournament semi finals.
