Title: Volunteer Coach

Jamie Verner enters her second season as a volunteer assistant for the softball program at Regis College in 2014.

She comes to Regis after her career at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, N.H., where she was a four-year member of the softball team. Throughout the course of her career, Verner played in 112 games for the Ravens, starting 103 games, primarily behind the plate as a catcher. As a senior, Verner was named to the Northeast-10 Conference Spring All-Academic Team after posting career highs offensively.

Off the field, Verner was highly involved in campus activities including serving as a psychology research assistant, tutor, and psychology club vice president. Verner was also a standout in the classroom during her four-year career as she was named to the Franklin Pierce Athletic Department Honor Roll and the NE-10 Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll from her freshmen to senior seasons.

A native of Natick, Mass., Verner graduated from Franklin Pierce in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Sociology.
