REGIS SOFTBALL ADDS 11 IN UPCOMING CLASS

WESTON, Mass. – Head softball coach Nikki Panciocco and the Regis College softball team are proud to announce their class of 2019, featuring eleven freshman from all over the northeast.

Lily Demers is an outfielder from Scituate, Mass. where she attended Cardinal Spellman High School in Brockton. She played all four years on her varsity team and in her junior year, she was named Offensive Player of the Year and led the league in stolen bases. Her junior and senior year she was named Catholic League All-Star and Enterprise All Scholastic, while also being named team captain in her final season. Lily will be majoring in Nursing.

Alysa DiFruscia is an infielder from Tewksbury, Mass., where she attended Central Catholic High School. She will be majoring in business.

Taylor Farley is a utility player from Dalton, Mass. where she attended Wahconah Regional High School. She played on her varsity team during her junior and senior year. Taylor helped lead her team to the Western Massachusetts Finals during her senior year.

Celsea Leclair is an infielder from Bellingham, Mass. where she attended Mount Saint Charles Academy in Woonsocket, R.I. She also played for the RI Thunder Gold Team. Celsea is a dual sport athlete and will be majoring in Nursing.

Kelsey Grimard is an outfielder from Pelham, N.H. where she attended Pelham High School. She was a four year varsity starter and as a senior, she was named First Team All-State. Kelsey will be majoring in Secondary Education.

Lisa Lusardi is a utility player from Enfield, Conn. where she attended Enrico Fermi High School. She made varsity as a freshman and received Rookie of the Year. She received CCC East All Conference honors twice and also received MVP recognition in her senior year. She captained the team during her junior and senior seasons. Lisa will be majoring in Psychology.

Jeszy McGuire is a pitcher from Brimfield, Mass. where she attended Tantasqua Regional High School. A four year varsity starter, Jeszy received numerous awards. During her senior year, she was named First Team SWCL All-Star and Team MVP as well as captain. Her senior year she faced 375 batters, recording 122 strikeouts while allowing 15 walks and just 74 hits. She graduated with a 2.17 ERA. Jeszy is a dual sport athlete and will be majoring in nursing.

Talia Mirra is an infielder/pitcher from Everett, Mass. where she attended Everett High School. She made the varsity team as a freshman, and as a junior and senior she was named a GBL All-Star. Talia will be majoring in Nursing.

Brianna Napoleone is an infielder from Medford, Mass. where she attended Medford High School. She played for the varsity team all four years in high school. As a senior, she was named a Greater Boston League All-Star. Brianna will be majoring in Nursing.

Allie Petillo is an infielder from Sayvile, N.Y., where she attended Sayville High School. During her junior year, she helped lead her team to win the Long Island County Championship. In her senior year she was named a Newsday player to watch. Allie will be playing both field hockey and softball as well as majoring in nursing.

Ryley Wilkie is an outfielder/first baseman from Rindge, N.H. She attended St. Bernard's Central Catholic High School where she played on the varsity team all four years. Ryley was named a Central Massachusetts All-Star her junior and senior years as well as co-captain her senior year. She plans on majoring in Nursing.
