WESTON, Mass. – First basemen Alyssa McKinnon (Raynham, Mass.) and third basemen Allison Caloggero (Medford, Mass.) of the Regis College Softball team were named to the New England Collegiate Conference All-Conference team it was announced on Monday morning.

McKinnon, an All-Conference Second Team selection, played in 15 league games for the Crimson and Gold. She led the team and ranked sixth in the conference in batting average hitting a blistering .479 from the dish this spring. McKinnon also ranked second on the squad behind Caloggero in hits (23), runs (14), doubles (4) while driving in nine runs. McKinnon also played solid defense as she made 79 putouts and had a .954 fielding percentage.

Caloggero was an All-Conference Honorable Mention selection at the hot corner as she played in 18 conference games for the Pride. She led the team in runs scored (17), ranked 10th in the conference in hits (26), while also leading the team and ranking eighth in the league in doubles (6). Caloggero ranked second on the team in RBI (12) and batting average (.448) during league games.

The Pride finished their 2015 campaign at a 8-18 mark while finishing 7-11 in NECC games.
