SWIMMING & DIVING PICKED SECOND IN GNAC POLLS

WINTHROP, Mass. – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced the results of the Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Coaches Polls on Thursday morning.

Both Regis teams were picked to finish second with the women coming behind Simmons College, while the men were slated behind Norwich University. Simmons has won 10-straight GNAC Championships, while Norwich has won the previous three titles on the men's side.

At last year's championship, the Pride women came in second place, while the men took home a fourth place finish. Haley Bowen (Litchfield, N.H.) was the top finisher for the women, setting a GNAC record in the 200 yard breaststroke, while placing second in her other three events. Kiet Luong (Malden, Mass.) was the Invitational's top scorer a season ago, winning all four of his events and setting records in the 50 and 100 yard backstroke.
