WINTHROP, Mass. – After an impressive offensive performance that saw him rack up 16 points across two games, Jack Jaynes (Reading, Mass.) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week.
The sophomore opened his week with a hat trick and an assist in a non-conference matchup against Thomas (Me.). He then dominated in conference play against Albertus Magnus, contributing to 12 of Regis' 17 points with six goals and six assists in the victory. This marks Jaynes' third career GNAC weekly honor (twice named Rookie of the Week) and his first Player of the Week recognition.
Jaynes and the Pride return to action on Wednesday, hosting GNAC rival Rivier University at Regis Stadium for a 5 p.m. showdown.
