WESTON, Mass. – Senior attack Matt Vogan (Billerica, Mass.) has been selected to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All Star Team, it was announced by the regional chair Tim Murphy earlier this week. Vogan will be a part of the NEILA East All Stars on May 30, 2014 in a 5:00 p.m. game at Springfield College.

This marks the first NEILA All Star selection for the Regis College men's lacrosse program. Earlier in the week, Brian Cidado (Easton, Mass.) was named to the NEILA Academic All-Region Team, also a first for the program.

Vogan helped lead the Pride (9-8) to their first winning season and the program's first-ever ECAC Tournament bid this season. Vogan scored 38 goals and added six assists for 44 points, and also added 16 groundballs and five caused turnovers. Vogan was especially deadly on the man-advantage as he led the Pride with eight man-up goals.

In his career, Vogan ranks second all-time in games played (54), third in goals (71), fifth in assists (22), and fourth in career points (93).
