WESTON, Mass. - Head men's lacrosse coach Josh Blumenthal recently announced the naming of three captains for the 2014-2015 season as selected by members of the team and coaching staff.

Rising senior Peter Leighton (Wilmington, Mass.) will complete his collegiate career in the Crimson and Gold as a senior captain. The Regis College player was a NECC All-Conference team member this past season following his 62 point outbreak.

Rising junior Andrew O'Reilly (Hollis, N.H.) returns for his second season in the role after leading a gritty Pride midfield unit which ranked first in NECC face-off wins with 193.

Rising junior Mike Emanuelson (Silver Lake, N.H.) also join the leadership contingent. Emanuelson joined fellow captain O'Reilly on the face-off unit while also adding support on the defensive side of the ball with 13 caused turnovers, good for second-best on the Pride squad.

"Following a truly record breaking season for our program the future is indeed bright for the Pride. Having these three men lead us to the next level is both reassuring and exciting and I know they will do their part to see our upward trend continue," Blumenthal said.
