Weston, Mass.—The Regis College Athletic Department is pleased to announce the Student Athlete of the week.  Tyler Beyor  (Carthage, N.Y./Carthage) was selected for his stand out performance against Mitchell College last week.

Beyor solidified the Pride defense for three solid quarters, keeping the Mariner attackers scoreless in the first quarter. Beyor stopped 15 of 20 shots, acquiring a 75 percent save percentage for the game. Five of the 20 shots were man down plays for the Pride.  Beyor stayed strong denying all five man-up attempts by the Mariners.  Beyor helped the Pride go 17 for 30 on clearing, by finding the open midfielder out of the defensive zone. He attained a clearing percentage of 56 percent.

Beyor will look to continue this strong play throughout the rest of the season.  The Pride has two games left this week against Massachusetts Maritime Academy and Thomas College.
