As a Sophomore:

Thongsythavong has started in ten and played in all of the eleven games this season, scoring six goals and three assists. He has picked up 33 ground balls.

High School:
While at Salem, Thongsythavong was the captain of the soccer team, was considered the most valuable player, was also noted to be the Northeast Conference Best Defender, was inducted into the Salem High School Hall of Fame, and played in the Eastern Massachusetts All-Star game.

Coaches Statement:
When Wade is on, he is truly a joy to watch. He has the 1 v. 1 ability to break down even the best defender and explode to goal. His ball skills are truly a joy to watch and he can make a game exciting in an instant. We look forward to getting Wade the ball on the outside and allowing him to do what he does best, break people down.
