WESTON, Mass. – Regis College men's basketball player Osanto Marc (Kissimmee, Fla.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week this week, it was announced by the conference offices on Monday afternoon. Marc helped lead the Pride (8-12, 5-6 NECC) to a 1-1 week last week by averaging 14 points per game on nearly 60% shooting.

The freshman guard scored 18 points on 5-9 shooting as the Pride clipped Daniel Webster 50-47. Marc added 10 points hitting 4-of-6 from the field in a loss to undefeated Becker. Osanto Marc is currently second on the team in points per game at 11.6 while also averaging 3.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.

Osanto Marc and the Regis College Pride continue their push towards an NECC playoff bid when the Pride hosts Lesley University on Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.
