As a junior:
 Val played in 27 games for the Pride…He scored 76 points on the season and grabbed 57 rebounds…Val was fourth on the team in shooting percentages tallying an average of 45.3…

As a sophomore:
Val appeared in 13 games during the 2009-10 season, starting versus Anna Maria (02/20/10)...he was 67 percent from the field, a personal season-high, against New England College. He had 29 total rebounds on the season. 

As a freshman:
Saw action in 18 games...scoring 23 points, three blocks, and 26 rebounds...

High school:
 A four sport athlete in football, basketball, track and field, and baseball. Named an academic all-star in each sport, and won the Coaches Award in basketball and football. Val graduated valedictorian, and made the principles list three years.

Personal:
