HASELHUN RECEIVES ALL NEW ENGLAND HONORS AT MIDDLEBURY

WESTON, Mass. - The Regis College men's and women's Track and Field teams competed in the Division III New England Championships today. The women traveled north to Middlebury College while the men competed at MIT.

The women were led by Julia Haselhun (Carlsbad, Calif.) who bested her school record mark in the triple jump with a distance of 11.03m. Haselhun received All-New England honors and placed 6th overall. First years Keegan Duguay (Watertown, Mass.) and Fatima St. Hilaire (Dorchester, Mass.) also competed at the championship meet, with Duguay placing 18th in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.83 and St. Hilaire placing 17th in the triple jump.

In Cambridge, the men's 4x400 relay team consisting of Matthew Malone (West Roxbury, Mass.), Fred Mathieu (Miami, Fla.), Joe Greco (Oxford, Conn.), and Matt Norton (Weymouth, Mass.) broke the school record with a time of 3:32.80, placing 13th overall. Matthew Malone also competed individually in the 60m hurdles placing 18th overall with a time of 8.85. Matt Norton raced to a 20th place finish in the 800 with a time of 2:02.31.

The Pride are back in action at the Division III ECAC championships in Staten Island, NY on March 4th and 5th.
