Several members of the Regis College track and field team competed at the 2013 New England Division III Outdoor Championship over the weekend at Colby College.
The Regis College track and field team hosted their lone home meet of the season on Sunday afternoon, and the Pride defended their house honorably with results that included four Division III New England worthy performances.
The temperatures in New England have yet to rise, but the Regis College Pride are heating things up on the track. The highlight of the meet came in the 400m with Jeremy Israel (Boston, Mass.) writing his ticket back to the DIII New England Championships by running 51.18 and placing 2nd overall.
The Regis Track and Field Teams were in action this Saturday at the Tufts Snowflake Classic where they posted a series of strong performances and personal bests.
In their second-to-last meet of the indoor season, the Regis College track and field teams traveled to Tufts and competed in the Tufts Stampede this past weekend.
On a historic day the BU Track, where 2012 Olympic Silver Medalist Galen Rupp ran to break the American record in the mile, the Regis College track and field team continued to improve at the BU Terrier Invitational at Boston University.
The Regis College track and field team continued their indoor season this past Sunday with a stellar showing at the Greater Boston Track Club Invitational at Harvard University. Strong performances and personal bests were present across all disciplines.
Regis College is proud to announce the hiring of Dan Flynn as the newest addition to the athletic staff as the Head Coach of Cross Country and Track and Field. Coach Flynn joins the Pride after working at Lesley University in Cambridge, Mass., where he led the women’s cross country team to five NECC Championships in five years, and the men’s team to four conference championships.
