READING, Mass. – The Regis College swimming and diving team continues to earn accolades not only in the pool, but also through their work in the classroom, as 10 members of the Pride have been named to the Fall 2021 All-Academic Team by the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association (NEISDA), as announced Friday, Jan. 21, by the coaches' organization.

For a swimmer or dive to make the All-Academic Team, they must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher. In total, 128 student-athletes from 11 different schools qualified for the NEISDA Fall 2021 All-Academic Team.

Graduate student Thalia Bowie (Lexington, Mass.) as well as seniors Julia Burke (Barrington, N.H.) and Alexa Lancisi (Milford, Mass.) all receive NEISDA All-Academic recognition for the seventh time in their collegiate careers. Seniors Kyleigh Boatwright (Roseville, Calif.) and Mallytza Ibarra Davila (Yuma, Ariz.) each pick up their fifth NEISDA All-Academic award.

Juniors Luke Jubinville (Warwick, R.I.) and Cashman Murphy (Westwood, Mass.) and sophomore Megan Miller (Quincy, Mass.) were named to the NEISDA All-Academic Team for the third consecutive semester, while junior Shawna MacNeil (Medford, Mass.) has now been selected for the third straight fall semester.
