WESTON, Mass. - Elisabeth McQuaid (Marlborough, Mass.) a sophomore diver on the Regis (Mass.) women's swimming & diving team, has been named the New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association Diver of the Week.

McQuaid's win, her first of the 2017-18 season, comes on the heels of a strong performance at a diving competition at Bridgewater State University, where McQuaid won at the 1m and 3m events. McQuaid scored 179.70 on the 1m board to qualify for the New England Championships and also scored 213.15 on the 3m board.

McQuaid and the rest of the Pride will be back in the pool on November 11 when Regis hosts Norwich and Babson in a tri-meet. The first events of the day are scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
