WESTON, Mass. - For the second time this season, Elisabeth McQuaid (Marlborough, Mass.) of the Regis (Mass.) women's swimming and diving team, has been named the New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association Diver of the Week.

In Saturday’s GNAC Swimming & Diving Championship, the freshman won the women’s 1 meter diving championship. She scored 204.25 points for the first place finish, winning by over 40 points.

Prior to her diving career at Regis, McQuaid dove for AMSA Charter. She finished fourth at MIAA Region II State Championships as a high school senior. She is a ten year diver for ZAP Diving and is currently majoring in secondary education at Regis.

McQuaid and the rest of the Pride swimming & diving teams return to the pool on Jan. 14 at Colby-Sawyer. The meet is slated to get under way at 11:00 a.m.
