WOMEN EARN CSCAA SCHOLAR AWARD FOR SPRING SEMESTER

WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College women's swimming and diving team was honored by being named to the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team Awards for the spring 2012 semester.

Over 500 college teams achieved this honor by excelling in both the classroom and the swimming lanes. The Regis College women's swimming and diving team was honored by the CSCAA for achieving an overall team GPA of 3.07 for the spring semester.

The Team Scholar All-America award is presented to college swimming and diving teams who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The award is presented to teams achieving this standard in the fall semester and in the semester of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships (Winter/Spring).

The College Swimming Coaches Association is the oldest coach's organization in America. In addition to Scholar All American Awards, the CSCAA recognizes All-American swimmers and divers at the national championships every year.
