BIDDEFORD, Maine -- The University of New England Nor'easters
opened the 2009-2010 season with a 161-54 victory over the Regis

the Campus Center.
Sophomores Lizzie Wareham (Osterville, Mass.) and Sara Shea
(Peabody, Mass.) each won a pair of events to lead the Nor'easters.
Wareham captured the 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard freestyle,
while Shea took home victories in the 50 and 100-yard breaststroke
events.
UNE senior Morgan Lawless (Kirkville, N.Y.), sophomore Allie

Maine) all won individual events and were part of UNE's winning
200-yard medlay relay entry. Individually, Lawless won the 50-yard

The Nor'easters are idle a week before returning to the pool Nov. 7
when they host UMass Dartmouth. Regis hosts a meet with Roger
