PRIDE SET TO TAKE ON GATORS

Weston,Mass.—The Regis College women’s lacrosse team is set to play Pine Manor College Monday (Apr. 25). The Pride enters the contest with an overall record of 4-12 and is 1-10 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference. The visiting Gators enter the contest with an overall record of 0-4

The Pride is led by freshman Teresa Busiek (Arlington, Mass./Arlington Catholic) who has a team high of 39 goals on the season. Busiek also leads both the Pride and all other TCCC teams in groundballs tallying 87 for an average of 6.21 per game. Teresa Crevier (Milford, Mass./Montrose ) is a secondary scorer for the Pride with a total of 31 goals on the season and a total of five assists. Crevier is second on the team for ground balls and currently ranks fifth in the TCCC for ground balls per game.

On the defensive side of the ball the Pride is led by Meghan Ryan (Stow, Mass./Iona College) and Alycia Murray (Danvers, Mass./Bishop Fenwick).Ryan and Murray have combined for a total of 170 saves on the season.  Ryan ranks 7th in the TCCC for saves per game with an average of 8.55.  Murray ranks 8th in the TCCC for saves per game with an average of 8.44. 

The Gators are led by Beth Deegan  (Philadelphia, PA/Little Flower Catholic School for Girls)   who has a team high of six goals and one assist. Alie Johnston (Winnipeg, MB, Canada/River East Collegiate) and Molly Manley (East Greenbush, NY/Columbia) are second on the team in scoring tallying two goals apiece. The Gator defense is led by Colleen Tenzca (South Meriden, CT/Platt) who has played in all four games and tallied 33 saves on the season.

The will be played at Regis College and set for a 7:00 p.m. start.
