CREVIER AND BUSIEK TALLY TWO IN PRIDE LOSS

BRISOTL, R.I. – The Roger Williams Women's Lacrosse team had 13 separate players score in a 20-4 rout of Regis College Saturday afternoon played on Bayside Field.

Junior Danica Delia (Norwalk, Conn.) lead the way with four goals and two assists, while senior Claire Halliday (Trenton, N.J.) added three goals and three assists. Freshman Danielle Neagle (Avon, Conn.) and senior Kate Malenczak (Sayville, N.Y.) both had two goals and two assists.

The Hawks were once again quick out of the gate, when senior Kelsey Adams (Goffstown, N.H.) scored her first goal of the year with just 45 second off the clock. Pride junior Teresa Crevier (Milford, Mass.) got her team on the board two minutes later off of a free position goal, evening the score at 1-1.

That was as close as Regis would get as the Hawks went on an 11-goal run, with Delia and Halliday each scoring a hat trick during that time. Once the score was 12-1, Pride freshman Teresa Busiek (Arlington, Mass.) was able to score an unassisted goal for their second of the game. Also scoring in the half for the Hawks was senior Sara Morris (Topsham, Maine), who got her first career goal off an assist by Malenczak. Entering the halftime break, the Hawks led 17-2.

The second half had a slower pace, with the first goal being score three minutes in by Pride's Busiek. Roger Williams' first goal of the second came from sophomore Dana Wilfahrt (Hamilton, Mass.) off a pass from Halliday. Nine minutes passed before Regis scored their final goal of the game, with Crevier reaching the back of the net.

Sophomore Justine Sullivan (Norwell, Mass.) made her first appearance of the year on the offensive end and scored the first goal of her college career, off an assist from Morris. Senior Erica Palmer (Branford, Conn.) scored the last goal of the game to bring the final score to 20-4.

The Hawks' Sullivan got the win with three saves, while Pride's Meghan Ryan (Stow, Mass.) took the loss with 12 saves.
