CREVIER SCORES SIX IN PRIDE VICTORY

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College women's lacrosse team defeated Wheelock College Thursday (Apr. 14) by the score of 16-3.The Pride moves to 3-10 overall and 0-8 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference. The visiting Wildcats move to 0-8 on the season.

The Pride was led by Teresa Crevier (Milford, Mass./Montrose). Crevier started the Pride off on the right foot by tallying the first goal of the game.  Crevier ended the game with a team high of six goals. Teresa Busiek (Arlington, Mass./Arlington Catholic)  and Tana Dicenso (Framingham, Mass./Marian) chipped in on offense with three goals apiece. Lindsey Graver (Bellingham, Mass./Bellingham) continued to fuel the Pride's offensive intensity by scoring two goals on the game.

The Pride's defense was led by Alycia Murray (Danvers, Mass./Bishop Fenwick) and Meghan Ryan (Stow, Mass./Iona College) who tallied a combined eight saves on the day. The Pride's defense played strong for 60 minutes. The strong defensive performance was highlighted by goals from Andrea Barbosa (Taunton, Mass./Taunton) and Kristen Amicangioli (Belmont, Mass./Arlington Catholic ).

The Wildcats were led by Kylie Hefford (Exeter, NH./Saint Thomas) who tallied one goal and two ground balls on the game. Jenna Ghoman (Danvers, Mass./ Danvers) and Despina Savvoulides (Norwalk, Conn./ Norwalk) chipped in on the offensive side of the ball by tallying one goal apiece. The Wildcats defense was led by Alexandra Perry (Malden, Mass./ Malden) who stopped three shots, for three saves on the day.

The Pride's next game is Saturday (Apr. 16) against Anna Maria College.

The Wildcats next game will be Saturday (Apr. 16) against Umass-Dartmouth.
