Weston, Mass.—The Regis College women’s lacrosse team was defeated by Curry College Saturday (Apr. 9) By the Score of 22-1. The Pride moves to 2-9 overall on the season and are 0-7 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference. The Colonels move to 11-1 and are 6-1 in TCCC play.

The Pride was led by Andrea Barbosa (Taunton, Mass./Taunton) who scored the Pride’s single goal. Meghan Ryan (Stow, Mass./Iona College) started the game in goal for the Pride tallying two saves. Senior Alycia Murray (Danvers, Mass./Bishop Fenwick) finished the game in net for the Pride tallying eight saves.

The Colonels were led by Ashley Hansbury (Chelmsford, Mass./ Chelmsford ) who tallied eight goals and chipped in for three assists.

The Colonels played three goaltenders   Maria Lynch (Billerica, Mass./ Billerica), Emily LeBlanc (Abington, Mass./ Abington), and Kate Noe (Greenwich, Conn./ Greenwich) who tallied two saves on the game

The Pride’s next matchup is Tuesday (Apr. 12) against Salve Regina University.

The Colonels next matchup is Tuesday (Apr. 12) against the University Of New England.
